MTI of houston used to sell the MTI G1 or something like that

for my first LS2 eng 228/232 113 dur high .58 .57 lift so all you need is the comp 918 springs. and chromoly pushrods i also went underdrive pulley. I had headers and GHL exhaust
did 427whp404tq
very nice lope and did not surge in first-at stop just a nice steering wheel shake, nothing major
i did not notice any gas mileage difference.

MTI in Houston, they no longer do mechanical work though. about $2k including lifetime tune........so much for lifetime

If you do heads you should try the LS3 stock combo with this cam(very inexpensive). any bigger cam with higher lift and you will need to flycut the pistons with the LS3 heads and LS3 intake

im speculating the head cam package above with an aggressive tune would make @ 480whp.

include a re tune in there too.

I think I've heard of alot of people really liking that GM hot cam, if I am correct with the name of it.

I agree with Drivin fast. a 228/232 112 or that size adds good power, some chop at idle, and is pretty civilized at low speed. MS-3 and MS-4 do not meet your MPG and drivability criteria.

VA Speed is in your area. Drop by and see what they have.
