I am noticing a slight vibration in my steering wheel and gas pedal. It seems to be most noticeable but not limited to speeds between 35 and 65 mph. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Thanks

Not sure this is the problem. It is not a shaking or bouncing that you would expect with a balance or alignment problem. This is a slight vibration like if you held a vibrator that was on very low setting. Like a tingle in our hand as you grip the steering wheel. Sorry I am just getting back to you but I have been traveling a lot for work. Hope to be home for a while. I have missed my baby (my little red vette) :burnout: :15:

First I would do the easy checks, wheel weights missing, most out of balance condition usually occur at the speeds you described. Next check for loose front end parts, motor mounts. How is you motor running?? any slight miss. As you can see it could be a number of things, start checking the easy stuff first.

Vibration in my steering wheel

First of all, try winding up your engine with the car sitting dead still and in neutral. If it vibrates only then, then you can eliminate the tires/wheels or the driveshaft causing it. If the vibration is there when the car's in neutral, it's possible you have tossed a balance weight off the outer shell of your torque convertor (if you have an automatic).
