I think this topic was up here a while back, I thought about one while roasting in the sun.

 

Louvers aren't my style at all. Since I tinted the hatch the inside temps in the car definitely feel cooler.

Those haven't been available for at least 10 years. Check the parts for sale section, there was a guy selling a brand new set there last winter??? He was wanting more than i would give. I search ebay and occasionally see a set there. I bought this set there a couple of years ago after a tree-branch fell on my car. If these hadn't been on there i am certain i would have needed a new rear hatch glass.
Crager made these back in the late 80s...they quit after the company was sold out around 91 or 92. They supplied them to GM with-out the Crager badge and were actually a dealership option through corporate at one point.
If you find a set DO NOT install them using the dbl sided tape! Use window weld with a good glass primer for the 4 center pieces (2 top and 2 bottom) and use just the window weld for the 2 edge peices...the last set i got on ebay didn't have the side pieces, so check to make certain all mounting pieces are included if you find them.

Yep, that's the best looking louvers I've seen on a Corvette.

 

They only belong on Iroc Z's now!

 

Perfect example of how louvers CAN look good! They are body color AND coordinate with the gills in the high rise hood...NICE!

Summit Racing still has them..in ABS and aluminum..the ABS warp but the aluminum hold up very well, are paintable and really block the hot sun

I had a quote from a window tint guy, both doors and single piece on the rear for $150, is that about the going rate?
