If they are the switches located at the rear of the door you have to take off the 3" X 5" metal plate just ahead of the rear tires/wheels to gain access to the switches. From there it's a piece of cake. There are about 4-5 different styles (and lengths) of those switches and only the correct replacements will work. In Corvette Central's catalog it shows pictures of the different switches.

Thanks to three VERY greedy ex-wives I'll go to my grave a very poor man. My last wife was snorting cocaine without my knowledge for about 10 years and ran up a charge card debt of almost $100,000. She was running 9 credit cards at the same time and was having the statements for 8 of them sent to her daughter's house about 30 miles away. And sometime during the first week of our divorce proceedings she cleaned out our savings and checking accounts; only leaving me a single $1 in each of them. Then she told all of my friends and neighbors I was a drug addict and my drug addiction is the reason why we are now penniless. As I have been 100% disabled since 1997 there is no chance of me ever working again, so I have to live on the tiny income I receive from Social Security Disability. Will I ever get married again? Not a chance in hell.
