There is white smoke issuing from the tailpipes of my '87 vette. Does this mean that the head gaskets are gone or are the heads cracked?

possibly, is it heavier smoke (steam) than the normal condensation of a cold start up? Check your dipstick for signs of water in your oil, also keep a close eye on your coolant level.

Race on!!!
