I'm sure you know where I'm going with this :thumbsup3:

Ive been checkin out Summit (I get all my goodies from there) andl I see are Eagle, Scat & Howards, and others just wanted to know if anybody has a personal interest?

Ok so with a longer stroke what size connecting rods will I be needing and or pushrods? ( i think)
What block are you planning on using?
3.75 (383) is most common stoker ; minimal clearance work of block needed and stroker parts common and cheap .
3.875" (396 ) requires more work
Even the 400 SBC only had a 3.75" stroke.
Plenty of online info if you use Google

Can the stock heads and injectors handle the job?
If you are planning a big cube SBC with stock heads heading you are thinking in the wrong direction.
Better to build a 3.750 stroke 383.

At 406+ cubes ( 4.00" stroke ) you are going to want some big heads , prob 200 cc or better if you want it to see it's potential.
And you will need larger injector and prob a better intake than a TPI so it can breath. The TPI was designed for a 305

If you read the write ups , you will see a 4" bore x 4" stroke SBC is not a recommended build because of the amount of work
and cost involved vs easier/ cheaper ways of making the same Hp
is usual have the bore larger than the stroke if you want the engine to rev; 400 SBC was 4.125 bore x 3.750 stroke

yea im lookin to use a 3.75 crank for a 383 build im just trying to find a kit off summitracing
Whats your budget and expected use (Hp / revs). Do you need forged parts?

Stroker kits start from $770 with a cast steel crank ,I beam rods and Hyper pistons

if you want forged pistons and crank then you are looking at $1000+
