I cant find the code for the rear end ratio just see "GM2" in the center if the cover and "208" on the fill side(passenger side)
oh its a 1978 and the codes all start with an "O" (cant see it)

unless it was special ordered, they came with 3.36 and L82 cars had 3.55.. if you want to be sure, because, regardless of stamp , it could have been changed over the years anyway, jack up rear of car, turn the tires one complete revolution and count driveshaft rotations.

question was answered in record time Thanks Mr slayer of the fish from yahoo.com.........L so if it spins 33 x its a 3.36
another one(question) how do I know if its a L48 or L82
