GAMBLER'S CLASSIC #18 IS "ON"
18th Annual Gambler’s Classic
April 18 – 20, 2013
at the Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino
in Laughlin, NV
For those who have attended over the years, we want to thank you for your support and invite you to come again to another great weekend filled with entertainment, an all-Corvette car show, poker-run and a huge raffle. For those who have never attended a Gambler’s Classic, we encourage you to join us for what promises to be a spectacular weekend. Gambler’s Classic is hosted by Corvettes of Bakersfield in partnership with Three-way Chevrolet and the Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino. Money earned from this event supports ten charities that are voted on and approved by our membership. To date, Corvettes of Bakersfield has donated over $195,000.00 to local, state and national charities.
Our theme this year is Western and our “sound bite” is CORVETTE COUNTRY U.S.A. We’re celebrating our all-American Country roots, so toss on your best western outfit, and plan to kick up some Nevada dust. You can anticipate an exciting dinner show on Friday night, a good ol’ Poker Run and, of course, a great car show.
We’ve added a Thursday night “Early Arriver’s Get-Together” from 7pm to 9pm in the Star View Room. This will be a great opportunity to kick-off the week-end by meeting old and new friends, enjoying a cool drink and finger food and maybe…some line-dancing. Yee Haw!
The Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino has proved to be a great partner and supporter or Gambler’s Classic. They are looking forward to the event and have made every effort to ensure all goes smoothly. They encourage you to register early (THE EVENT IS LIMITED TO 250 CARS). Use the following code for special room rate available to Gambler’s Classic participants: C/GMBLR. Call 1-800-227-3849 and make your reservations as early as possible.
In years past, we have had almost 500 registered entries. You may go to our website, corvettesofbakersfield.org where you will find all the necessary information and forms. You will also see pictures of previous Gambler's Classic events and letters submitted from past entrants. This will be the most fun you will have with your Corvette Buddies so register early. Remember, entries are limited to 250 cars.
