I use Amsoil Multi-Vehicle Synthetic Power Steering Fluid (Product Code: PSFCN) in my 2006 and it is also recommended for your 1998. I use a Fluid Extraction Pump (Product Code: G2576) to get as much of the old fluid out as possible when changing it. It can also be used to remove other fluids such as engine oil, drivetrain lubricants and engine coolant but it should not be used for gasoline.

The PSFCN meets all of the following specifications and is compatible with any product that also meets these specs;

•American Motor Corporation C 4124
