My heater is still operating unusual as after 25 to 30 miles of working normally it'll suddenly start blowing cold air. When it does I have to roll the selector wheel to OFF for a few seconds then return it to VENT. Then my heater will blow hot air again for another 25 to 30 miles and then the cycle repeats itself. It acts like the heater control valve's diaphragm is very slowly getting vacuum to it and closing the valve. I suspect the 7-port vacuum switch is the cause but I'm way too crippled to lap the two halves together right now (I have a crushed L5/S1 disc).

And after I changed my ATF my transmission hasn't missed its 3rd gear shift. Perhaps the 3/4 spool was getting hung up in its bore. As my torque converter has two 1/8" NPT drain plugs 180 degrees apart from each other I can completely drain it.

And now that winter is almost here I need to back my Holley's electric choke off a notch or two because it's "chugging" on cold starts.
