Overall some real nice features but I don't like the camaro tail lights. The " Ray emblem " is pretty cool though.
dont like the rear. Way too Camaro-ish headlights reming me of a cadillac's Do like the lines though. A lil more to them than the C-6.
There used to be a vendor who sold the stingray side emblems in Corvette magazine Would like a set of those for my 73 ray.
Exciting to have another era out there.
I read a comment earlier, he called it the "Mullet" of cars...Ferrari out front, Camaro in the backl! kinda hits the nail on the head, huh?

I saw some pictures of it in Detroit. I love it
It looks like it will had HUGE blind spots to the rear. Not crazy about the tail lites either. BUT....ITS A CORVETTE ! ! ! :thumbsup3:
I think my rental will go up for sale in a year or two to get one.
2017 sounds about right
I was curious how round tailights would look, so doctored up a photo, they didn't look to fit the angles and molding of the rear as well as the new camero looking lights.
0-60 in under 4 seconds ! who cares what the taillights look like

Being that with those numbers, that's all most will see.....:eek2:

This car is is growing on me very quickly. Even the back end as seeing a good look at Barret Jacksons auction. I thought the first car off the line would bring more $$ though. How about the Bat mobile $4.6 million. Alota $$$ flying through that auction !!!
Rick Hendrick bought the first production 2014 Corvette C7 for $1.1 million…

So the first one is coming here... to NC...

Only 16 miles away from me.....

Checkout the vid here....

Rick Hendrick did, in fact, purchase the first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette for $1.1 million at Barrett-Jackson Saturday night, where he also bought a 1969 L-88 Corvette for $1 million.

I hear he doesn't open his private museum up too often though......rats
The look of the C7 doesn't do much for me. I think upgrading the performance was a step in the right direction, but if Chevy decided to bring back the Stingray name, they should have made the car look more retro, like a C3 or even a C2. If I had the money this Rick Hendricks has, I would rather have that '69. Much better looking IMO.
