just wondering what temp you small block guys are running? I have a 78 with original low comp 350 w edelbrock RPM heads and a mild comp cam plus the normal stuff like headers MSD ignition,intake and carb. I am running at just under 200 and at along stp light or heavy traffic a little over 200 then it goes back down. Does that sound OK or is 185 wher I need to be?

What thermostat is installed? Maybe change it to a 180*?

And 200 is not stupid hot. It's a bit more than I personally prefer to see, but not terrible or the end of the world either.

I m with Tim, 180-190 is where I like it but 200 is fine ...after you hit 220-230, then you need to worry
