Looking to purchase my first Vette, have been taking some time and realizing the drill about uncovering " the real deal ". I have run across a couple of cars with high highway mileage exceeding 200k ( which is easy to do in CA ). These cars are advertised as a long list of replacement and new or rebuilt engines.

Are there specific considerations I should be aware of for valuation......for example a 2006 Z51 Coupe w/225k odometer reading and the following:
Complete Engine Overhaul / Rebuild:
  • New Hasting Rings
  • New Clevite Bearings
  • New Fel-Pro Gaskets and Seals
  • New Melling Oil Pump
  • New LS7 Lifters
  • New GM Camshaft
  • New GM Timing Chain
  • New GM Water Pump
  • New GM Harmonic Balancer
  • New E3 Spark Plugs
  • New GM Spark Plug Wires
Any thoughts ideas appreciated
