I am doing a frame off restoration on my 71 vette and I want to upgrade the steering. Does anyone have experience with both the Rack Attack and the Steeroid systems. My supplier is recommending the Rack Attack system. Which one is better.

I did a quick search and I'd say either one is good
only difference I saw was one used all heims and the other had normal outer tie-rod ends.

I didn't see ratios listed
I'd want the quickest , but's that's just me

Have you not considered the Flamin River R&P kit?

Its definetly not the cheapest one but it looks real nice.

I personally got the feeling that the Steeroids kit brackets was a bit "flexy".

A word about the installation, there is wery crutial that one remove all the welding spots (proper word?) so the brackets doesnt "ride" on those.

My Steeroids kit is just short of 2,5 turns lock to lock.

But mind you, the wheels doesnt steer (move) as mouch as with the original steering box.

So in the end i belive that its pretty close to equal to about 2,5 turns.
