For the smog pump or for the air injection they used on the exhaust?
Not sure what you mean. Smog Pump and AIR Pump are the same thing. In your picture, the pipe that you have circled, runs down and has a round end on it. This is the muffler. The open end you can see in the picture would have been connected to the AIR valves. The pump would output to the first valve that would switch the air to either exhaust manifolds or the the next valve. The second valve routes the air to either the cat or dumps to the air muffler/silencer.

Okay so here's my next question. While deleting the EGR and converting to catch cans with the PCV valve, whatever fed the air to that tube is no longer on my car. Can I simply cap it off and call it a day? From what I've read of it, assuming this is what I've read about, all it does is feed air into the exhaust to burn off unburnt fuel.

Thanks for the help so far!
