Getting a pro tune is nearly $500 bucks every time. Can a Diablo Preditor do what a pro tune can do? I have a 2007 A6. Thinking about it, it just seems that the Preditor is the better economic decision?
The Predator or Trinity is a great place to start, and it supports custom tuning if you decide to go nuts in the future, and it has a bunch of end user adjustable parameters, which allow you to fine tune your combo.
From a tuning aspect, not much, although Trinity is set up to add TCM support very soon.
Most of the difference is in the user interface, touch screen, logging and performance meter functions.
