My 770 cfm Street Avenger's choke has worked perfectly all summer but it may not continue to work perfectly as we head into fall. As oil gets thicker with lower temperatures the amount of drag on the crankshaft increases which means I may have to drill a couple of 1/4" holes in my throttle butterflies to provide my 454" with a bit more air.

Long duration camshafts and automatic chokes don't play well with winter temperatures so I may be facing some challenges as it gets colder. I'm presently running 0W-40 full synthetic engine oil.
