Just got a newsletter from the National Corvette Museum saying that certain paint colors will not be available for the rest of the year. Cyber Gray, Crystal Red and Jetstream Blue use the pigment known as Xirallic to give the vehicles a special sheen. The factory that makes the pigment was damaged in the tragedy that hit Japan and has been shut down.

Actually, that is not totally true. I was told that GM was offered the opportunity to have the factory kept open for a limited run of the pigment, however, GM declined the offer saying that they didn't want the rest of the years production of these colored cars to glow in the dark.

I cannot believe that it took so long for someone to put together the 6th from the last word in the first paragraph with the last 4 words in the second paragraph and the date I posted this message.

Very good, vettex2.
