i'm detailing the engine and need to remove pulley. how do i get the pulley off the P/S pump and do i have to remove the pump off the engine.

i'm detailing the engine and need to remove pulley. how do i get the pulley off the P/S pump and do i have to remove the pump off the engine.

To remove the pump you'll have to take it's bracket loose from the front of the engine block and then to remove the pulley you'll need a special puller that is available from any Autozone or other major auto parts store.
