A friend has been selected as one of five finalists for a ROTM contest sponsored by the Double D Mods Company. He's a good Corvette guy who has helped me out of many a jam and with your help, this is a little something I can do for him. There's some tough competition so I'm trying to drum up some support for him.

If you happen to have a Facebook account or have access to one, and would be willing to cast a "Like" vote for his car, it would be greatly appreciated.

I know there's a guy who joined the forum just to get some votes for his contest. Unlike him, I've been a member of this forum for a while. Your help is appreciated.

Simply go to DOUBLE-D-MODS, scroll down the page to the "Like Us On Facebook" box, click that box and then log in to Facebook using your login. Once there, scroll down the page until you see Jack's car (Electron Blue Corvette Coupe with graphics) and if you like it, give it a Like which counts as a vote. If you can, and feel like leaving a comment, please mention Carl sent you. :seeya:

Voting ends on 2/28/13.

Again, any help you can give would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks, fish- :thumbsup3:
And I agree that the involvement level here at times leaves something to be desired.
I appreciate your good help.

I know that during the winter, a lot of members store their cars and don t come on much, because they aren t driving.. .. we warm weather guys don t have that problem of driving in snow.. still, would it kill them to pop in once in awhile? this is a good forum, not full of self-proclaimed experts that are really just azzhats.,like the "other " forum .. but we could sure use a little more participation..just a friendly suggestion guys.

As far as my involvement goes with this or any other forum: I am online (also online on the computer in the garage) all day when I'm home. I keep a handful of tabs open and in between my tinkering -or whatever else I might be doing, I go back and forth between the various tabs online when I think about it. If I have something to say or ad to a post, I will. Like right now I'm looking for a 1974 thru 1977 -maybe '78 C3- I think you know that. So I posted my interest in getting one. No leads yet but my search is young.
And I think you may be right in your assumption about the cold weather guys, where they may not be thinking "car conversation". But then again, the more I drive the less I'm online, so you would think the opposite would hold true. :seeya:

Thank you to all who voted. Today is the last day to vote.

Jack has pulled ahead and it appears he has secured a solid 1st place win, but stranger things have happened than losing a 1st place lead.

With that said, this last request for a vote goes to anyone who may have thought of voting but hasn't, or anyone who hasn't voted because they don't have a FB account, but might know of someone who does.

ANY Facebook account can vote HERE

Thanks in advance.
