Maybe new to forum, but not new to the Corvette world. After two C5s, a 98/TR/coupe and a 01/QS/Z06 and now a 07/A6. I have experienced the little things that goes array with our beloved Corvettes. I am in no way a GM tech. but over the years and with the help of other Forum members,I have learned a lot, and I will do my best to give an accurate answer to anyone's problem. THANK YOU and DRIVE ON.

But Spring is comming and before we know it we will be looking forward to the Corvette show Memorial Day weekend at the Budweiser Plant in N.H. We got 2 feet at my house n Braintree; wet and heavy, like cement.

Drivingdown to Bowling Green next month for the NCM's April Bash.

Maybe I'll take a ride up to Danvers to your cruise night some Wednesday.
NCMs April Bash, Sounds like fun. Have you done it before. I could sure use some of my 5 weeks vacation, other than snow days!

My first bash, but not my first visit. Did the plant tour and spent a day + at the museum last May.

What a beautful car. DAMN!! Won't be hard to pick you out of a crowd. After two C5s, Sept. of 2011. The Chevy dealer up in Andover called me at work and asked me how fast can i get up there. Well faking sick the next minute, i flew up there to find a Black 07/A6 coupe w/12K on her, she still smelled new. A 73 yr. old retired airline pilot turned her in on a new CTS/V. My 01/Z06 was getting old and i think i replaced everything from the headlight motors to the firewall. Took about a min. to say yes. First thing was a window tint then a Corsa Sport Exhaust W/X pipe, next was an SLP Blackwing then of course a tune. 383 RWHP. I could go on all night, but i have to be at work at 6AM to machine jet engine parts for the Government. Have a good night.
You're off to a good start. Amazing how a tune really helps these cars.
Kinda Strange, Meny years ago, if you wanted to increace HP the first thing you went for was the restrictive air box. If you made a CAI yourself or bought an after market one. that piece of honeycomb in the MAF was the first to go. Seems like a restriction to me. So with my 07/A6, I ordered my SLP Blackwing and upon installation i riped the honeycomb out of the MAF. All set to go and before you knew it BANG. CHECK ENG. light. Seems the newer LS2s can not compensate for the extra air comming into the motor, Codes read, lean in both banks. Ok, now off to the turner. On the dyno the turner could not keep a good idle and asked what did to her. Told i took the honeycomb out of the MAF and he went YEP thats it. That little honeycomb keeps the air stright through the MAF and with out it makes the air tumble over the senitive wires to keep an idle. Damn, lesson learned. If you want to play, your gonna pay.
