I have a Corvette 1984 "cross fire" that I have not used for almost a year.

About a week ago I started which took sme time to make it going, but when I give gas (pressing the acelerator) the motor does not react, instead just stop running.

I check all the spark plugs and wires, the distributors is tighten and it does not move, I check all the vacuum hoses, etc.

What should I look for to correct this problem? could be the coil insie the distributor?

Please, give me some tip about where and what to do.

To see if it is fuel or ignition that is stopping it from running, try spraying some brake clean (flammable type, they do have a nonflammable brake clean you don't want to use) in the throttle bore & open the throttle while you do it. If it takes off & the engine stays running & rev's up, then it is a fuel issue, if it still dies then it would be an ignition problem. It might be a TPS (throttle position sensor) & you can check that with a ohm meter, you can do a search online for pics even. Fuel pressure or plugged injectors could possibly do it as well. Keep us posted.
