Hello Guys

I was just woundering how do you get the battery out? I see there is a bracket for the cruz control going over the center of the battery do you have to lossen that bracket to get the battery out or is there a better or easyer way?

The side fender panel comes off and then you slide the battery out the side. Haynes pg 5-2 has the procedure.

What he said. When you re-assemble everything, be sure to open and close the door slowly and ensure you've gapped the panel to the door correctly. If you bolt the panel back on too close to the door, you'll chip the paint when the two pieces smash into one another.

If this seems confusing, don't sweat it, you'll understand when you go through the procedure.

IIRC there is one hidden bolt on the bottom of the panel. 10mm I think. You don't have to remove it, but loosen it enough to slide the panel off.
