yeah, E85 in older cars may cause some fuel system problems ..and you will not get the mpg s from E85 as with E10 or just gasoline.. ethanol produces less energy than gasoline ..around 30% less .. it is sold at only a few places in my area
its an auto 4L60E, 2.73 rear ratio , convertible.... I drove manual trans Corvettes since my first, 66 /427 , up until I bought this one..my Modified C3 is an auto too but it AINT BUILT FOR MPG s .... getting lazy in my old age,I guess ..
my "severely" tweaked 81 , 383/525HP gets 20 mpg on the hiway.. if I keep my foot out of it. altho,I converted to a TH 700r4 tranny and lock-up converter, too...80 mph =2550 rpm!.... you should consider a trans swap ...lock-up converter
