Can anybody point me to some online literature on how to repair this?
The other day my crank for the passenger window just spun on me for my "69 C3 vette. I tracked it down to a broken component near the smaller 5 point gear. It's the piece that this gear turns that I need to replace.
I've taken all the components apart except the small spring inside the clutch gear for the crank handle. I'm thinking I need to knock the pin out of the female half of the ball joint to the crank handle but I don't want to break the part any more then it already is (the piece inside the housing that the small gear turns is what's broken).
If anybody knows where I can get replacement parts for manual recuperators besides the repair kit I'd appreciate the help. It amazes me that I can find power conversion kits but no manual ones anywhere.
