I would have thought any track would require a helmet at any speed

okay a quik "too fast" story

I was driving in a retirement community with speed bumps
An elderly woman pulled up in her golf cart yelling I was driving too fast
I told her "if it was too fast , how'd she catch me in a golf cart ?"
She started yelling so I left her in a cloud of tire smoke

OMG that made my day...lol. Here in Utah the limit is 12.99. Then you have to wear a helmet. Our track is at 3500 feet, and in the summer the temp is around 100 degrees. That tends to slow the car down a bit, and it also shows on the Dyno. It makes it tough to predict ET's while bracket racing here, because you do your time trial runs in the afternoon at around 100 degree's, then the temp drops to 78 and the barometric pressure increases by the time you actually run. It's a fun challenge.
