So I just had a devastating experience with my car. I took my car to a car wash and accidentally locked my phone and keys in the vehicle.
Ugh! I waited for my insurance roadside assistance which was a joke. I was still waiting after 4 hours.
So my question is...what do you suggest?
Have a hidden compartment under the wheel well?
I never want to be in this situation again.
Thanks for any helps

It is possible for the key to be in the car, but undetected. Say for instance the fob is underneath your phone or shielded in some way. The car would not pick up that the key was inside. I've had a few occasions where the fob is sandwiched behind a phone and my magnetic wallet and the car doesn't realize the key fob is in the car. If the car was locked from the inside then that could result in this situation. My only suggestion would be to never lock the car from the inside. Lock with the fob or lock from outside door handle once the door is shut. It will not be possible to lock yourself out that way.

It is recommended to enable spare keys.
