I'm looking for a parts supplier for several misc. items for my 77. I noticed Keen Parts is nearby to me and wondered if anyone has went with them before, and how their products were, before I wasted a trip and stop by their store.

Never heard of them.....................
nope.. I stick with ecklers, Corvette Central, Corvette America
Do they have a web site
Keen Parts is a good group of guys selling primarily Corvette parts only. They happen to be one of my vendors selling my line of Seatbelt systems for Corvettes. They aren't the size of the big corvette vendors but I've never had any bad dealings with them from the business side of things.

I've never seen their showroom or know how much inventory they keep on hand so you might want to call first to find out before making the drive. I think they have 1 or 2 small stocking orders in with us right now so I believe they do have inventory available, not all drop ships.

I have used keen frequently over the last 2 plus years and have found them to be helpful and knowledgable. I once had a part failure which they warranty'd even though the warranty period was expired.
I wont say their parts are any better or worse than others, I think I have tried them all, since i have touched every aspect of my vette during the restomod. That said, i now try to confirm made in usa on any significant purchase with any vendor.
I like Willcox outta Indiana. The have a website, specials, and they have a shop in the back of their facility where they work on vettes. Good bunch of guys who are knowlegable about the hobby.
Keep Parts is great! You should have no problems with them. :D :thumbsup3:
as i said on another forum, i live about 25 miles from ecklers and i buy from keen. many times with shipping its still cheeper. it seems at ecklers if you walk in they won't deal at all. likely because they figure the shipping costs will get you if you go elsewhere. same way tire stores vs tire rack deal.

I find its best to compare prices with 2 or 3 vendors...some are higher or lower on different items..but, I ve been buying from Ecklers since the early 70 s..had a wholesale account for my shop back then with them... bought a mountain of stuff over the years. ..never a problem they didn t quickly resolve ..in fact, they used to pay 1/2 of my shops Yellow Pages ads, for putting their Logo in my ads
ecklers is no longer owned by Ralph Eckler haven't been for some time. not a bad company just little stuff here and there. most of the problem seems to be the counter guys. you deal with one guy who treats you pretty well then they lose that one and your back to square one with a new one. but you are right , comparison shopping is key.
Keen is great

Its pretty narrow minded to stay stick with...
The Keen catalog is a must have for any C3 owner with helpful information in it that you cant find anywhere else, plus all my dealings with therm have been first class-unlike some of me dealings with the "stick with" group.

nothing narrow about it...I didn t say..YOU MUST STICK with...I said I stick with ..and said compare with 2 or 3 vendors... english, not your first language?
Recently purchased a lower front valance for my 68 front clip I'm rebuilding. There price and ship rate was way better than the others.
