I look in on all of my fluids from time to time, I suck out the dark contaminated fluid from the resivoirs and refill them. I have noticed in the past and again today, that on the cap to the clutch, there is a small amount of grease, or a jelly like substance (NOT GRAPE) don't ask!!! how I know. I use prestone brake fluid in both units, brake and clutch masters, and I replace them at the same time. any suggestions will be helpful, and yes I have had the clutch/hyd slave replaced in the past year. thanks!!!

Is it grease or maybe caused by a combination of moisture and dirt? The first time I did the drain and refill procedure on the clutch fluid, I took a towel and wiped off a little gunk on the rubbery part of the cap.

Had it also in the 05 and the 10, wipe it off and change the fluid. Use a metal or glass baste to suck kit out, refill, pump the pedal 20x's and repeat until clear. I am not sure the vette is so bad, never seen this on my infinity.
