Right after I bought my '71 I noticed my gas pedal foot was continually catching on the underside of my brake pedal when I lifted my foot off the pedal. Because the brake pedal was way too wide for my liking.

The solution? Using a jig saw I hacked about 2" off the right side of my brake pedal. As I have always used my left foot for braking when driving cars with automatics the narrower pedal was no problem.

I did that too and then bought a new rubber pedal pad
Yeah, there was no logical reason to make the brake pedal that wide. I have also noticed the tip of my right shoe gets caught on the A/C ducting and my show size is only an 11. Guys with size 13 shoes would have it much worse. When I sit in my '82 the top of my head is in contact with the underside of my standard t-top but when I install the glass t-tops it has about 1" of clearance. When I'm in my '71 the top of my head is about 1/2" below the underside of my t-top. I have a long upper torso so that's why. These C3's are definitely NOT designed for 6'-6" guys.
