Gold if your needing to buy the spring He sells them for 80-82 vette's as well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-1982-C...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2ec0e749c4 I just bought mine today from the seller directly. he took 30 bucks off the price since I bought from him directly instead of through ebay. Also instead of waiting three weeks for delivery through ebay he said I should have it by mid next week.

I went with the 340lb spring, thanks for the advice Fishslayer.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-1979-C...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2ebfbfee3c im wondering is this the part I need to replace the leafspring I just took out. Is there something better? and one last question, the seller says "Available in three rates to fit your comfort and driving style: 315#, 340# & 355" what does that mean and which one should I pick?

Thanks in advanced!!!
That is the one by Muskegon. They are nice folks and have been very helpful with information when I called them about brakes. I decided to buy the VBP version with 330 lb spring when I changed my rear susp on my '73. Just a hunch, I am sure either system is good. I am quite happy with the change. I went with Bilstein shocks too. I dont know that reducing the weight is needed but the difference between stock and comp is about 35 lbs
