Is there something better? and one last question, the seller says "Available in three rates to fit your comfort and driving style: 315#, 340# & 355" what does that mean and which one should I pick?

its a composite mono-leaf to replace the steel spring set you orig had.. the numbers refer to stiffness..lower=softer , higher =stiffer ride

well since the topic is open anyway I'll ask just for curiosity the stock steel spring on say a 80 vette is what 330lb (stiffness and probably weight to mine is heavy)

Also instead of waiting three weeks for delivery through ebay he said I should have it by mid next week.

I went with the 340lb spring, thanks for the advice Fishslayer.

That is the one by Muskegon. They are nice folks and have been very helpful with information when I called them about brakes. I decided to buy the VBP version with 330 lb spring when I changed my rear susp on my '73. Just a hunch, I am sure either system is good. I am quite happy with the change. I went with Bilstein shocks too. I dont know that reducing the weight is needed but the difference between stock and comp is about 35 lbs
