Help!! I need some advice on installing a new fiberglass front bumper on a 1975 corvette. I did the rear bumper and that was fairly easy but, the front is a different beast. The honeycomb is the real problem do I have to disgard the honeycomb or is there a way to install leaving the honeycomb in place. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Fishslayer, I think I found a way to install the bumper without removing the honeycomb. I found some small push nuts that are very thin and theaded them on the clips to hold them in place they held enough to so I could put the bumper on without the clips falling out and was able to put the nuts on and tighten them up.

way to go...but, .its really unnecessary. the glass bumper is plenty strong to support itself, and if you do hit something, the impact cushion will be of little benefit
