How wide is a 1975 corvette hood

My '82's hood measures 45-7/16" at it's widest point. As the hoods are interchangeable I'd assume all of them are the same width except for the earlier "short hoods" that are used in conjunction with wiper doors.

68- 82 the hoods are the same width..short hood only for 68-72 for wiper door ......the latch is different 73-76 and 77-82

Oops, you're right fish. I forgot the early ones used a different kind of latch. Sorry for the oversight.................
