I have a 2009 6 speed. How can I tell what gear ratio is in my car?

All manual tranny cars came with 3.42s.

Manual transmission will have a 3.42 from the factory. Automatic transmission will have a 2.56 standard or a 2.73 optional (standard with Z51).

Inside your glove box you will have an RPO identifiaction label that will list all of your option codes. Look for the following code printed on the label.

For Automatics
GM8 = 2.56 ratio
GU2 = 2.73 ratio

For the manual
GU6 = 3.42 ratio
