Install a passenger side mirror on a '75
How hard is it too....

No just a stock chrome one. Car never had one originally

All thru the '70's none of the C3's came stock with passenger-side mirrors so the dealers put them on for a small fee.
They are easy to install as the mirror kit comes with everything necessary. The hardest part is locating it in the right place so you'll have to do some careful measuring. I put one on my '71 several years ago and I didn't have any trouble

That's good to know. I thought maybe the door skin would have to be reinforced for the mirror. I found one at corvette central.

I had to replace mine about a year ago. Got it from Zip. It came with a hole template to position the holes for drilling. For mounting, the mirror uses a rubber grommet that expands as the metal inner sleeve is tightened.

I looked for my template to scan for you but I was unable to find it. I searched google images for "1976 corvette side mirror template" and found a few pics. This one looks like the one I was sent.
