How detailed are these? These are advertised to have factory authorized service information that has been written by General Motors. Are these the same manuals that the dealerships use?

They are VERY detailed and not really a "how to" book. They are a typical shop manual. Four volumes; must weigh 20 lbs. total.
The cover color is bizarre....why Barbie pink for a Corvette manual?
Mine are in binders to protect them (and hide the cover).

That's a good manual. I've seen them advertised myself. Don't have one but have thought about getting one.

I agree. A very good manual. They are pretty pricey but they can be sold after you sell the car.

Here are the manuals for a 2008 right from Helm inc. The other years are similarly priced

Check Ebay before you buy. You may be able to find your set a little cheaper than a new set.
