I have a headlight motor that wont work. I used a volt meter to check for input. With the light switch on I read a -12.35 volts while touching green and white leads. Is there a good procedure for tracking down power problems. The schematic shows a circuit breaker within the motor. How can you check for something like this?

Could be that the nylon gear is stripped. Does the motor run, but the headlight just not raise or lower?
