A turbine type pump. Why do you ask?

It needs to be efficient enough to keep the motor running. There is no substitute better than a turbine in your car' s gas tank.

Fuel pump?

Cause the tank Pump Doesn't Work, & I Want To Install a inline Pump ? Without pulling the old pump ? Any Help ?:z1-2: Oh ! Its Not a Vette Its a 87 chevy P/U ....Now The Vette Has a inline pump with the tank pump & it Works just fine....

If your in-tank pump doesn't work , adding an inline pump to the system won't work because there will be too much restriction on the suction side of the inline pump.:seeya:

Are you talking about running BOTH pumps at the same time? Or just running the in-line pump by sucking fuel thru an in-operating stock pump? I'm running a HyperTech inline pump but I added a separate 3/8" steel tubing suction line to my tank's sending unit flange for the HyperTech but left my stock pump in place (now unused).
