been looking for Freon and oil replacement levels for my A/C system, Haynes manual speaks nothing about it ether
Got a new compressor, tank
going to flush my system too
got new O rings and filter too
Read 33-36 ounces of Freon, what about oil?
PS: short style compressor, if that make a difference

you have the stock radial compressor still? 3 OZ. goes in the compressor.prior to install . turn it by hand a few revolutions to disperse the oil .before running .1 oz in accumulator if replaced ...be sure to CHANGE the Orifice tube..its only $10 . are you going R134 ?

And did change the orifice filter (it was black)

yes.. do you have evacuator pump? you need to get down to 29in for at least 30 minutes .. then shut it off and see if it holds there .. don t turn the cans upside down when charging, pure liquid can damage compressor .
