After Installing a 205 degree thermostat and seeing a 21% increase in my fuel mileage I decided to do some experimenting. I have been running a 16 degree initial advance which gave me a total of 36 degrees @ 2500 rpm. Knowing timing can have a significant affect on fuel mileage I decided to reduce my initial advance to 12 degrees and see what happens. I'll run three tanks of fuel thru it and see if I can detect a difference one way or the other.

Most of my local driving is at 2000 rpm or less so the less initial advance MAY increase my mpg.
