Have a 98' convertible with the rear-end out replacing a leaky tranny seal. Would like to remove the elect. brake & traction control module. I would dead end the electric snap connector, and splice the corresponding brake lines together perhaps with a junction connector of some sort. I will never use the traction control, and the anti-lock brakes i dont care for. Traction control already needs service, so instead of repairing it, i just want to do away with it. It would probably definetly hurt the re-sale value of the car. The dash light(s) will probably stay on forever as well. Has anyone ever heard of doing this, and besides the obvious adverse effects, how else might it affect the car??
