plugs on the vette are pretty easy to get at, if that is what you are asking. The fuel rail covers pop off if they are in the way.

how do i know when to stop tighten then? should i use a toque wrench?
Standard rule of thumb is finger tight and then an extra 1/4 turn with a wrench. THATS IT! As already stated, if you over tighten them you will be sorry. Oh, and don't forget a dab of anti-seize on the threads.

C6 Z06 plugs are not the same as used in the LS3. They're one heat range colder, IIRC. I'd guess that the LS2 and LS3 use the same plugs, but the guy at the parts counter can look up the correct plug when you buy them.

To add to Wastingas, put them in by hand, until tight. That way you can feel the threads turn and know you haven't cross threaded them. I'll sometimes put them in my sparkplug socket and turn that by hand just because it is easier to handle the socket than the plugs.

Also, pull the wires off at the plug, at the base of the wire. Tugging on the wire in the middle can cause them to break. I use a little dielectric grease on the plugs to ensure a good seal with the wire, comes in a little tube when you the plugs.

I've always used anti-seize. I never heard of using oil, i'm sure it works well but I think the anti-seize is fine. Use a small piece of rubber hose on the plug to guide it into the hole, it makes it easier to thread it in rather than just using your fingers.

I used oil on older cars prior to aluminum heads. I use oil on the threads when I change my lawn mower spark plug.
