Ik not to listen to haters. A guy at my work has a beautiful C3 coupe. When I said I had a c4 he said it looks like a wedge.?? I like the clean lines of the car and appreciate what GM was trying to do with the c4 generation. Anyways what does everyone think is the c4 generation an ugly car?

is C4 ugly

:thumbsup3: I think the C4 was ahead of it's time in 84 stlye and performance' Matter of fact I had an 84 and now have a 96 BOTH ends of the C4 model. Naturaly the 96 LT4 is my favorite but they both have the look I like . Just MY $.02:Irule:

As always, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

That being said, the super weak engines the C4 started with has a lot to do with it. Much like a hot body on a so so looking girl, and vice versa, a hot motor would have made a big difference. If the C3 had started with the engine it ended with, I think most would see it in a different light. And then there's the handling. You could turn corners better in a C3 if you flipped it upside down and added a outboard to it...... :smilielol5:

I agree, and if the 427 or 454 was available it would have a higher demand but blame the government on that one. . . . Also think GM copied the look with Camaros and Firebirds of that time which hurts the C4 having a unique look. Many times I've seen what I thought was a C4 coming at me in traffic and it turned out to be something else that copied the nose. . . . Maybe with the (IMO) ugly C7 it will help increase the demand.

I seen Somewhere that there was only 68 of these C-4's made ...I think 89's ? But They Had Ports in The Hood That Would Let Air in ? Anybody Seen one ? :479:....I Seen one on a Video & it was S/C & Run 254 MPH ! ? Might of Bin Turbo Charged ?

Thanks for all the replies. I am not biased towards any generation if I could I would own them all! I am happy with my c4 and plan to have it till the day I die with a lot of luck. :sm_party:

but can always be "Updated"
the hard part is the chassis
it flexes too much :crybaby:
you need a roll bar or a cage to stiffen it
The engine/trans/suspension is the easy part

If you didn't like it you wouldn't have bought it would you and that is all that matters
Some people thought Edsels looked good enough to buy as well :smilielol5:
vetteoz tells it like it is! Who freakin cares? It's what you want and like. Enjoy the heck out of it and ignore the fools. There are a lot of them around ... :toocrazy:
