with a posted octane rating of 91 or
higher. If the octane is less than 91,
you could damage the engine

kinda defeats the purpose of 11:1 compression, if the ECM pulls all the timing out to survive with 87 octane .. I took this right from the manual.. Use premium unleaded gasolineI thought the computer would just retard the ignition to prevent damage ?:
