I thought the computer would just retard the ignition to prevent damage ?:
in some northern states the best you can get is 89 :vomitbuddy:

here is my favorite quote from the manual:
"The tires require inflation pressure
adjustment when driving the vehicle
at speeds of 282 km/h (175 mph) or
higher, where it is legal. Set the cold
inflation pressure to the maximum
inflation pressure shown on the tire

kinda defeats the purpose of 11:1 compression, if the ECM pulls all the timing out to survive with 87 octane .. I took this right from the manual.. Use premium unleaded gasoline
with a posted octane rating of 91 or
higher. If the octane is less than 91,
