Here is another one for us oldies ,Name a Beer from the 50's and 60's,I'll start with Champagne Velvet. This should be a little harder.:woowoo:

how bout drummond bros,burger & Old german which sold for cents a 6 pak
And don't forget dizzy dean and falstaff on saturadays baseball game

I believe it was known as "Carling" Black Label at one time and it was advertised as being "from the shores of Lake Cochituate." (near Framingham, Massachusetts.)

Then there was Piels and Schlitz and good old Budweiser was around then, too.

I worked for a strohs distributor in the early 70's largest pay check I ever made with them was the week we rolled out Billy beer. Fortunate enough to get to move on to a Bud distributor. Anybody remember Malt Duck or Champale It was what we had before all the wine Coolers became popular.

P.O.C., popularly known as Pride of Cleveland although brewers never defined what the initials stood for, once sold 400,000 barrels a year in eight states but went out of business in 1986. It was among the most popular beers in Cleveland during the 1950s. :sm_party:
