I saw a bumper sticker on the back of a bubba truck years ago that could have come in handy here. "If you can't stop, smile as you go under"

Did you notice that there was no explanation of the accident or why it happened, driver or truck at fault but soley placed blame on the trailer guard not being adequate enough to protect the driver of the car. Here's a thought, don't run into trailers! It's not as if you can't see them, they don't sneak up on you. :doh:

Guard rails keep you from going off the side of the road too unless you decide to hit them at 80-90+? If the truck was doing 60, how fast does a 'vette have to be going to hit that hard while both are moving :bump2:

Happened on the interstate. The car very well could have got hooked up on the guard and undercarriage of the trailer, and if you look at the back of the vette there's a chain which most likely the tow is using to unwedge it. . . Unless he plowed into the truck if it was parked or broken down on the highway. Like one of the other guys said, the story didn't give details.
