As I wasn't happy with my '82's performance I did a lot of testing in 2005 and 2006 and found out why they quit making power after about 3000 rpm. Not enough fuel volume or pressure because the pumps were too weak. And then the CrossFire intake manifold was designed for the smaller 305" engines so they wouldn't supply a 350" engine with enough air. With the later '85 pump and a Renegade manifold they'll run right with any Tuned Port.
