I have the MidAmerica Quad exhaust system which has a Lifetime guarantee and is suppose to exceed your expectations. My issue is I have had it several years and I knew the tips were not lined up perfect but thought I would fix them when I had more free time. Well come to find out the tips on the passenger side are not level. The only way to line up with the drivers side is to lower the muffler on the passenger side. This causes the muffler to hang down below the body panel and can be seen when you are looking at the car from the side.I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'm asking Mid America if I can exchange for a different brand.They already sent me a replacement and it was just like my original. I believe there is a Quality Control issue,the box said made in China.

and that is why I quit buying from Mid-America ... most of their stuff comes from China.. I was not happy with their quality or the customer service..sorry youi are finding this out as well

I have taken pictures of the system off of the car that shows the drivers side tips are level and the passenger side tips are not level.There is no way to deny what the pictures show. Mid America needs to stand behind their product and the claims that they make.To make this problem even more confusing I made the purchase through one of their suppliers.I have been going back and forth between the two.Mid America told me they will get back with me after the Fun Fest is over.If I am not taken care of I will send all pictures and documentation to the State Attorney General's office. I will post results so other owners will know what type of customer service to expect from Mid America.

I spoke with the supplier today where I made my purchase and he has agreed to exchange my defective Mid America system. Once I receive and install I will update this post.

I forgot to mention I had already received the warranty replacement and it was no better. I told them I was finished with the Mid America systems this time the exchange is for Magnaflow. I should have the new system by the end of next week.

then you will probably be satisfied this time.. in the future,when you need parts , may I suggest buying from Ecklers ,Corvette Central,Corvette America ...I have never been disappointed by any of these 3 .. I ve been buying from Ecklers since the 70 s..

I actually did business with Eckler's years ago when I restored a 65 vette. I really don't know why I didn't think to order my exhaust from them. I would order lots of parts for my 65 and they would ship direct to the body shop, never had a problem. I guess like the old saying goes live and learn. By the way I got a surprise today and my Magnaflow system arrived today. It will be Monday before I can install it, I'm anxious to hear how it sounds.

Installed the Magnaflow system today. Here is my comparison, I like the fact that there is only one clamp per side compared to two clamps per side on the Mid America system. The mufflers are much smaller and fit very close to the heat shields in comparison to the Mid America syetem which seemed like I had a couple of smashed trash cans under my car. I like the tips much better than the Mid America tips. I found the idle tone to be more pleasing along with the overall sound. If I would have gone with this system in the first place I would have saved myself a lot of aggravation.
