I've changed out a few of these things before, but THIS one is giving me fits. I pulled the drivers' seat and the steering column to gain room to work. The upper and lower nuts on the passenger side were easy to get at and are currently removed. However, the fuse box, wiring bundles, and clutch and brake pedals are all conspiring with each other to cause me to question how much I really want to change out this booster. I tried taking pictures, but my camera doesn't seem to like it up under the dash and I can't get shots that actually show the problem. There is so much in the way of the last two nuts that I can't even get fingers in there to feel them. I hate the idea, but do I need to pull the fuse box for this?

The thing is finally out. I didn't have to move the fuse box, but I did have to remove the brake light switch and mount to get at one of them and the seat belt alarm box to get at the other one. And one thing I can assure you of, this old man isn't built for the contortionistic accrobatics it took to remove that brake booster. I'm sure I'll be sore for a few days.
