it idles really low when in gear and stalls sometimes, only when its warmed up, when its in park its fine, can someone help please?

You may want to pull the IAC off & clean it to see if that helps. Check your timing, look at the mark closely & bump the throttle slightly to see how sloppy the chain is. How many miles are on the Vette?

Well, 300-400 is definitely to low. Many things can effect idle speed, so make sure that your engine is in good tune before you mess with anything. Good tune means correct ignition and valve timing(worn chain will throw valve timing off). EFI system working correctly with no codes, good compression, etc. Also, as others have suggested take the IAC valve off and clean it, Haynes tells how to remove it. Then if you still have an idle problem here is a link on how to adjust the idle:
